There is a wide variety of opportunities to help out with CBS. We have opportunities from social media, engineering committee, senior ride planning, safe routes to schools, political advocacy, workshop planning, and more. As an all volunteer organization we always need a pool of voluteers and friends to maintain progress towards safer streets.

Political
Advocacy

CBS Volunteers work to elect a city council that supports street. We also work with the Cambridge City Councillors and the Cambridge Department of Transportation to create policies such as the cycling safety ordinance.

Community Engagement

CBS volunteers work to promote bicycle safety by distributing bike lights and reflective materials at schools, businesses, and libraries across the City of Cambridge. We also organize educational workshops like what to do if you are in a crash.
